The Royal Burgh of Dornoch
Dornoch, the home to the Dornoch Pipe Band is located on the north shore of the Dornoch Firth in the County of Sutherland. Dornoch is well known for its particulary leafy and pleasant appearance.
It is also the home to the world famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course - a spectacular 18 hole course, world renowned and visited by many of the world's golfing elite. In fact the area boasts no fewer than 12 quality golf courses, all within an easy reach.
During the summer months the band plays every Saturday evening in the square. Surrounded by ancient buildings such as the Dornoch Castle Hotel, the (former) county Jail and overlooked by the Cathedral - altogether a feast of architecture through the ages.
Only one hour's drive from Inverness, visitors can be assured of a very friendly welcome and we, in particular look forward to seeing you add to the crowds lining the street during our performances.
